Pam Has High Hopes For Poker Site
Former Playboy Centerfold and now newly married mother of two Pamela Anderson launched pamelapoker.com together with legendary poker pro Doyle Brunson in July. More than 30,000 people have signed up on the site since then.
"I've had a lot of success with my Web site and a lot of success on the Internet, I guess, fortunately and unfortunately," Anderson said. "I figured I should do some type of business on the Internet and this just seemed like fun."
"Everyone else has made a profit off me," she agreed. "I haven't really gotten into that part of my career."
"Well, I've made some money," the blonde playfully giggled. While a poker site with the former Baywatch star on it may draw skepticism, having Doyle Brunson on her side will definitely help in promoting the site as bona fide poker site.
"Besides being a beautiful girl, Pamela has a dynamite personality and she has a great head on her shoulders," Brunson says. "Poker is huge, and it's just touched the surface in China and Europe, and Pamela is huge in Europe. People I can't reach, Pamela can reach."
"I'm learning from Doyle, so I won't be learning bad habits," Anderson says. "The site is lighthearted, it's sexy and it's fun."
